"Tranquil Woodland"
by Richard Krausview biography"It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon mens hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanates from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit."
- Robert Louis Stevenson.
Personal Reflection:
I had the feeling of being in a timeless mystical woodland this morning. It could have been 100 years or 1,000 years ago and the atmosphere may have been exactly the same. The trees seemed to offer more wisdom than age as my youth shared the same space.
Technical:
This photogrph was taken with an 8x10" Sinar view camera and a 160mm Schneider Super Angulon lens. The film was Kodak Vericolor II with no filtration.
