A Journey Not Travelled

"A Journey Not Travelled"
by Richard Kraus
view biography
"Nature shows us only surfaces, but she is a million fathoms deep."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882).

Personal Reflection:
The landscape found in the water looked equally inviting to explore as the landscape on foot. There are many places in nature to explore that can be done only with your eyes and imagination. This was an atmosphere that was easy to travel without moving a foot.

Technical:
This photograph was taken using a Linhof Technica 4x5 field camera and a 150mm Schneider lens. The film was Kodak Vericolor negative and no filtration was used.
