"Breathing Atmosphere"
by Richard Krausview biography"For me, a landscape does not exist in its own right, since it's appearance changes at every moment; but the surounding atmosphere brings it to life - the light and the air which vary continually. For me, it is only the surrounding atmosphere which gives subjects their true value."
- Claude Monet.
Personal Reflection:
There is nothing more envigorating than an early morning mist. Very early morning is an alarm clock to wake nature that works very well in the mist. I'm not a morning person and it's always an effort to get out of bed, but I always come completely awake and full of energy in the midst of a misty atmosphere.
Technical:
This photograph was made using a Pentax 6x7 camera and a 90mm lens. The film used was Kodak Ektachrome 100 and there were no filters used.
