Moment's Joy

"Moment's Joy"
by Richard Kraus
view biography
"To take photographs is to hold ones breath when all faculties converge in the face of fleeting reality. It is at that moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."

- Henry cartier-Bresson.

Personal Reflection:
The stillness of an atmosphere that you know is evaporating provokes an intellectual sensitivity that you are in the midst of a very special experience.

Technical:
This photograph was taken using a Sinar 4x5 view camera and a 150mm Schneider lens. The film was Vericolor II negative and there was no filtration used.
